Palisades Park

Feb 4, 2011 by

Located along the top of the bluffs north of the Santa Monica Pier has appeared in countless movies and television shows. It is a great place to take a stroll with loved ones, run along the variety of paths, view the sunset or do your morning yoga.

Palisades park offers those walking, jogging through the opportunity to enjoy a variety of public art pieces and memorials. On the south end there are large canons there to protect Santa Monica from invasion. South of Arizona is the Veterans’ Monument dedicated to those brave men and women who defended the freedoms that we enjoy. St Monica looks over the end of Wilshire Blvd., while a totem pole looks out to the Santa Monica Mountains from it’s perch at the top end of the park north of San Vicente.

Visitors can find local information at the Visitors Center kiosk by the senior center near Broadway Ave.
